Captain Bertrand Collard

Bertrand is a Belgian Captain holding a French Master 200 GT Sailing qualification, with sea time currently building towards Master 500 GT. He brings extensive Mediterranean experience across private and charter operations, having commanded and supported a variety of sailing and motor yachts from 38ft to 154ft.

Experienced as Captain, First Officer, and Tender Captain, Bertrand has a strong background in yacht operations, navigation, guest management, safety procedures, maintenance, and refit projects.

Combining professional seamanship with a luxury hospitality background, Bertrand delivers a high standard of service, reliability, and operational efficiency. A qualified PADI Divemaster, he also brings additional expertise in water activities and guest experiences.

Gersende is a dedicated and versatile Hostess / Stew Cook with a strong background in luxury hospitality and private yacht service. Having worked aboard a 24m private yacht in the Mediterranean, she has developed a natural understanding of the high standards, discretion, and attention to detail required to create exceptional guest experiences on board.

Combining refined service skills with culinary expertise, Gersende enjoys creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests through personalised service, beautifully presented meals, and meticulous attention to the interior. She is experienced in menu planning, provisioning, guest preferences, cabin care, and maintaining impeccable onboard standards throughout the charter.

With a calm and adaptable personality, she is confident managing the fast-paced rhythm of yacht life while anticipating guest needs and ensuring every detail contributes to a memorable stay. Holding a valid Certificate of Aptitude for Navigation, she has gained hands-on experience aboard sailing and motor yachts in the Mediterranean and Caribbean, combining deck skills with exceptional guest service abilities.

With experience on yachts ranging from 22m to 55ft, Julia is confident supporting all aspects of onboard operations, including navigation assistance, manoeuvres, anchoring, line handling, exterior maintenance, housekeeping, provisioning, and guest care. Her hospitality background also allows her to deliver attentive and personalised service, from meal preparation and table service to creating a welcoming onboard atmosphere.

Passionate about life at sea, Julia is adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in dynamic charter environments. She brings a strong work ethic, practical seamanship skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for ensuring guests enjoy a safe, comfortable, and memorable experience on board.
