Waldo Swart - Captain

Captain Waldo Swart first entered the yachting industry in 2016 as a deckhand. He has since held a variety of positions on board
including first mate and bosun (on AMARULA SUN, ALLEGRIA and JAZZ) before moving on to Captain roles. Waldo has experience working on both private and charter vessels, carrying with him extensive knowledge of yachts. One of his many skills includes videography and he has put this to good use by using drones and go pros to film the guest experience, creating timeless videos. Waldo has also managed a refurbishment and detailing company that polished and painted boats and delivered them to clients. He is service-oriented and always aims to implement and provide a successful and exceptional yachting experience for both guests and crew. In his spare time, you can find Waldo hiking, traveling, reading, playing water sports, and staying active.

Terry Gatewood - Chef

After attending Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, South Carolina, Terry began his culinary career at the Four Square Restaurant in Durham, North Carolina. The next stop on his culinary tour was as a cook at Charlie Trotter's
restaurant in Chicago. He then moved south to Florida in 2002 where he worked at the Ritz Carlton Hotel for two years. Chef Terry then became the Sous Chef at Bistro Bisou in Miami followed by a Sous Chef position at fine dining restaurant in Miami Beach.

After several years in the restaurant industry, Terry worked as a private chef and caterer creating a variety of menus that ranged from kosher to vegetarian to diabetic to macrobiotic. In 2011, Chef Terry began working in the yachting
industry. Since then, he's traveled the world, logged countless sea miles, and gained invaluable experience professionally preparing unforgettable meals.

He’s worked on vessels such as M/Y NEVER ENOUGH, M/Y TEMPTATION, M/Y JUST ENOUGH and currently aboard M/Y LIMITLESS and is eager to provide an exceptional culinary experience for the guests.

Ashley Geldenhuys - Stewardess

Ashley began her yachting career in 2019, after building a strong foundation through roles at a bed & breakfast and as an au pair. Working in hospitality and with children helped her develop excellent communication and organizational skills, adaptability, and an outgoing, independent, personable nature.

She has held various positions on both charter and private vessels, including a live-aboard owner program. Throughout her career, she has worked aboard M/Y SH MAGIC, M/Y SEAGLASS, M/Y AMOR MIO, M/Y CARYALI, M/Y RHINO, M/Y TINTIN, M/Y ISLAND COWBOY, M/Y JET STREAM and is currently serving as Sole Stewardess on M/Y LIMITLESS, where she independently oversees all interior operations.

Ashley is cheerful, professional, trustworthy and genuinely loves working with people and takes pride in brightening their day through thoughtful gestures and attentive service. She is always eager to help and contribute positively to both her team and guests, bringing warmth, enthusiasm, and a supportive spirit to every environment she is in. She strives to ensure every guest leaves with a smile and a sense of ease, confident that they were thoughtfully cared for and their experience was seamless.

She feels best when spending her free time immersed in nature, enjoying a variety of outdoor activities while finding peace and inspiration in the world around her. She also keeps her mind busy with design and art, especially photography and interior design, which allow her to express her creativity and bring her ideas to life.

Rhys Mills - Mate/Engineer

Rhys is a versatile Engineer, Deckhand, and Bosun with expertise in deck operations, tender handling, anchoring, docking, and teak and stainless maintenance. He’s skilled in engine room tasks, generator servicing, plumbing, and vessel repairs, he also excels in large tender operations, line handling, knots, whipping and splicing, detailing, and vessel planning. With great technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail, Rhys reliably ensures smooth, safe, efficient, and professional charters and yacht operations.

Rhys’s career has spanned a variety of vessels, including S/Y SAUDADE, M/Y RHINO, M/Y KOKO, S/Y ZOKU, M/Y BELLA, M/Y BIG BLUE, M/Y JETSTREAM, and M/Y KOJU. He currently serves as both Mate and Engineer on M/Y LIMITLESS.

In his personal life, Rhys enjoys activities that fuel both his creativity and sense of adventure. He has a passion for photography, drone operations, and videography, capturing unique nature perspectives and moments from both land and air. He also enjoys fishing, playing golf, e-foiling, and participating in enduro motorsport.
