CAPTAIN – Giannis Christidis
Captain Giannis was born in 1970. He holds a Captain’s C Diploma and he has participated in many offshore races. With a strong background in both sailing and large motor yachts up to 65 meters, he brings extensive experience in navigation, yacht operations, safety management and crew leadership. Before taking command of M/Y Zoi, Captain Giannis served on several prominent yachts including M/Y Astarte, S/Y Baccara and M/Y Fly Me To The Moon, where he played a key role in deck operations, major refit projects, safety management, and crew coordination. Known for his calm and professional leadership style, strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, Captain Giannis ensures the highest standards of safety, efficiency and guest experience on board. He speaks English and German, enabling clear communication with international guests and crew. In his free time, he enjoys scuba diving, sailing, swimming and listening to music.


ENGINEER – Michael Govessis
Michael was born in Greece in 1962 and holds an A Class Engineer Diploma. He has attended many seminars in engineering and he started his career on tanker vessels and passenger ships. He entered yachting in 2000 and since then he has worked onboard various charter and private yachts such as M/Y Rini V, M/Y Alexandra and M/Y Vitamin Sea 2. Michael aims to please the guests and with his valuable many years’ experience ensures that everything works smoothly on M/Y Zoi. He makes sure that everyone onboard is safe and secure. Michael speaks English and at his free time he enjoys water sports, fishing and volleyball.


CHEF – Nicolas Lambrianidis
Chef Nicolas, born in 1986 in Greece, is a highly accomplished and skilled chef with an extensive background in the culinary world. He is a graduate of Culinary School of Alexandroupolis and he brings years of experience and expertise to every dish he creates. He has worked on many restaurants and resorts as well as being Head Chef in many caterings. Before joining the team aboard M/Y Zoi, Chef Nicolas had the privilege of working on several prestigious yachts, including M/Y This is Mine, M/Y Lazy Days. Nicolas' unwavering passion for culinary excellence, combined with his vast knowledge and experience in both fine dining restaurants and luxury yacht environments, makes him an exceptional talent in the world of gastronomy. He speaks English and basic Russian and enjoys travelling.


STEWARDESS – Venetia Tenti
Venetia is a dynamic and detail-oriented stewardess with hands-on experience in both private sailing and motor yachts. She brings a strong foundation in high-end service, including silver service, guest care, and interior maintenance, combined with practical skills in housekeeping. She holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Western Macedonia and has further specialized in Interior Design at the British Academy of Interior Design, bringing a refined aesthetic sense and attention to detail to her role onboard. Having worked aboard S/Y Baccara and M/Y Satemi, Venetia is confident in supporting interior operations, maintaining immaculate guest spaces, and contributing to seamless onboard service. Her background in hospitality, barista service, and team supervision enhances her ability to deliver attentive, personalized guest experiences. When not working, Venetia enjoys tennis, cycling and painting, reflecting her active lifestyle and creative background. She is fluent in English, enabling clear communication with guests. With a warm, professional approach and a collaborative mindset, Venetia is committed to upholding the standards of luxury yachting while creating a welcoming and refined atmosphere for guests aboard M/Y Zoi.


DECK HAND – Richard Layco
Richard was born in 1974 in Philippines and holds all the necessary certificates for his position. He started his career in yachting in 20017 onboard M/Y Chrysanthe and he has worked on various motor yachts before joining M/Y ZOI in early 2020, such as M/Y Dream
and M/Y Scandal. He is a very enthusiastic and hard working person. He speaks English and he is married.
