Sunark, a 120-foot motor yacht is one of very few high end luxury motor yachts whose top speed is 46 mph. I had the good fortune to experience this yachts' abilities first hand and while on board her captain told me that he took her up to her maximum speed of 46 mph.

This is a jet boat, which is very different from the normal luxury power yachts out there. Most luxury power boats are usually capable of speeds between 12 and 18 mph, so when a big boat like the Sunark is traveling at 45+ mph it is an amazing feat and it gulps fuel to do it, too!

A jet boat means there are no propellers, the propulsion is powered from the salt water being sucked in and shot out the back of the vessel. Because of the lack of propellers protruding from underneath allows Sunark to go into very shallow anchorages, which is most unusual for any power yacht charters.

Luxury Yacht Sunark is a beautiful motor yacht that was custom built in 1995 by Hessen Yachts and refitted in 2000 and again in 2008. It is extremely expensive to manufacture just one powerful vessel so the manufacturer built 3 simultaneously in 1995.

Sunark's interior is light and airy, with plush carpeting located throughout the decks. The inviting salon is decorated with large comfortable large sofas and chairs made of soft fabrics with easy access to a wet bar all encased with over-sized windows allowing in plenty of natural light. She has a lovely separate dining area further forward.

On board are 4 magnificent high-end luxury guests cabins for 8 happy guests. Sunark’s master suite features a king-sized bed, an entertainment system with flat-screen TV, and a large en-suite bathroom with bidet and toilet, Jacuzzi and shower.

The other 3 staterooms are 2 queen and 1 twin, all with en-suite bathroom and shower.

Guests are encouraged to spend some time relaxing in the 8-person Jacuzzi up on the main deck.

There are plenty of water toys on board Sunark including an 18' rigid bottom inflatable tender; wave runners, jet skis, inflatable tubes, knee-board, water skis, snorkeling gear and floating mats.
