Legend designed for luxury power yacht charters worldwide. In August 2010, the German shipyard Nobiskrug delivered this luxurious power boat to her new owner. It took almost 4 years to build after the contract was executed in April 2006. The newest mega yacht Legend, formerly Jamaica Bay was designed and built for worldwide cruising with a range of 4,000 nautical miles. The classically styled fantail super yacht offers accommodation for up to 12 guests.

As of this writing, the owners of the new Legend have not released her into charter, yet. It's a magnificent mega yacht and one can understand she's coveted by her owners and are not quit ready to share her, the owner has chosen to undertake a few open ocean crossings to various destinations around the world, before chartering to the public enters his mind.

After being sold, the old Jamaica Bay was renamed the Legend and at 197' its name is apropos. Yes, those that might be looking to charter the former Jamaica Bay will find her under her new name - Legend. There have been a total of three Jamaica Bay yachts, two of which are open to the charter industry and are operating under new names.

Both the old and new Jamaica Bays are famous for their fan tail design by Felix Buytendijk, the interior as well as the exterior was left up to Felix to complete.

Designed with magnificent open decks that are not are not impeded by the vessels' super structure allowing for great views of any ocean she sails. There are a total of 6 cabins on board and the other 5 cabins are spacious and perfect for yacht chartering or for the quests of the owner. All cabins have private bath facilities and the entire vessel is air conditioned. These cabins are located on the lower deck off of the main staircase with her dark mahogany balustrade ending at the top lounge with its tranquil ambiance.

When she does become available to the public for power yacht charters, Legend (Jamaica Bay) will be available in Bahamas Islands and the Caribbean Basin and the east coasts of the USA.
